The Beautiful, Winged Madness is a state both  inspired and mad where one discovers the most sublime visions and the most terrifying illusions. It is the domain of artists, lovers, mystics, and madmen, and it propells the world of Guy, a poet and a painter, and Anna, a performance artist who often wears personas---metaphorical costumes that explore truths. In present-day Los Angeles, the two artists voyage through experiences both extraordinary and universal that challenge and realize their highest, and most conflicted, ideals. They confront love and pain, beauty and terror, visions and madness, death and rebirth, and the sublimities of flesh and spirit.
    In the end, as in the beginning, all things are as fine as love and illusion. 
   But ultimately the story is about the consciousness and world of artists and the spiritually impassioned---their struggles and ideals, illusions and triumphs, and loves. It is a world vastly different from most, and if it seems at time self-obsessed and mad, it also is fascinating and beautiful. The Beautiful, Winged Madness gives it a voice.
